Behind the scenes, we’ve been preparing for our 2026 event, and we are so excited for what’s ahead.
On Saturday, November 28, 2026, Crafted for Courage will return as part of the 12 Days of Action Against Violence Against Women (November 25–December 6), a national call to reflect, raise awareness, and take action ahead of the December 6 anniversary of the Polytechnique massacre.
More details about time and location will be shared soon.

• If you are knitting or crocheting squares, please review our new square guidelines (see attached document).
To help us assemble the blankets smoothly, all squares must follow the updated size and material guidelines.
• Email us to register and let us know you’re participating.
📦 Square Collection Timeline – 2026
- May 1 – June 30 (drop-off locations to follow)
- July 1 – September 7 – NO COLLECTION
- September 8 – September 30 (collection resumes after Labour Day)
• Final deadline: September 30, 2026
✨ Workshops
Thanks to your extraordinary work in 2025, we still have hundreds of beautiful squares to sort and assemble.
For now, our workshops are focused on carefully sorting these squares. Once sorting is complete, we will begin creating the blanket layouts and move into assembly through mid-March.
Every square matters.
